PEOPLE, SQUARED – beach portraits
People, fair and square, photographed the south of Andalucia.
As with the last set, some people i know well and some other are perfect strangers whom i’d never met before or seen again since. All pictures were taken on the beach.
I will be away from the computer for a few weeks, but i’ll try my best to upload some new content and to visit all the other blogs i so enjoy following.
I wish you all the very best and i thank you all for you continuing support. Arrivederci!

Grazie di cuore, Sandro, su tutti i fronti! š
Very good. My favorite: the rasta man..
Thanks Bente. Dreadlocks are irresistible subjects.
ciao, buone vacanze… aspettiamo tante belle foto š
Belle, speriamo. Tante, non credo: senno’ che vacanze sarebbero…? š
Grazie!
What a gorgeous, inspiring collection of photos. Thank you for starting my day out with such beauty. Safe travels!
What a lovely comment! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your (wonderful) thoughts.
What a great series of portraits. Well done!!!
A real head-hunter, huh? Thanks!
Love the black and white portraits!
Thanks Maria. I find people minus color work quite well as subjects…
I would be proud of any one of these. If I had tsaken all of them I think I’d quit and die happy. The top one is my favourite – superb.
Thanks, Andrew. Works the other way for me: the fact i did them all, is exactly what makes me want to do more. But – as i’m realizing anew – taking a good portrait can require more effort than sometimes meets the eye. Again, thanks!
Arrivederci e buenas vacaciones!!!
Gracias, hermano!
love them all especially the ones looking down to you
Thanks. Pointing the camera up to people can sometimes keep the background clean and makes the subject look more imposing…
Very nice follow up …. I can still see their stories from your comps… really love the last ‘jesus’ shot. Safe travels!!!!!
“Jesus” shot – i love that. Also, i enjoy the idea of a dreadlock-bearing prophet… Thanks, MikeP!
Wonderful!
Thanks, Karen!
I loved the photos. Away from your computer for a few weeks!?!? :(. I will miss you & stay safe. -amy
Thanks, Amy! Time flies – i’m back already… š
I was away from blogging for couple of months…and boy its good to be back…and to view your awesome photography! Absolutely wonderful portraits!
Thanks, Know-All! I find a shuffle between subject matter to be both refreshing and stimulating. Glad you enjoyed these.
I really love this series. It’s different from your usual photos, but this is lovely. Their smiling faces, and the last photo, it’s dramatic.
Thanks, Muthe. One great thing about photography? Change subject matter and you have a whole new job to do, albeit with the same tool of every day – your trusted camera…
You walk the beauty way, I honour your path. Stunning work.
Many thanks, Michael. A few more on their way soon…
Wonderful. So happy to see new work. Wonderful portraits. ~amy
Thanks, Amy! Please stay tuned for a few more…
