crumbling walls and a generalized air of decay adds a lot of charm to rome’s ancient ruins. when you see that very same decay in one of italy’s largest hospital complexes, you can’t but cringe.
today’s post is about something i hope you never have to see in person. the umberto I (read: umberto primo, the first) is huge, with 30 meter wide roads separating and connecting the many many huge buildings.
i made sure i didn’t shoot sensitive issues, but i did spend a good forty minutes snooping around just recording the looks and feels of a big italian hospital.
