MAYFLOWER – rome’s wild colors
a few colorful shots from the country roads in and around rome.
it would be nice if i could name all these flowers, but apart from the poppy and the large purplish one we call ‘cardo’, i have no idea what their names are. being roman flowers however, perhaps it is safe to assume their names to be luigi, francesca, antonio, maria, giuseppe…

Beautiful and colourful, Alessandro!!! And I like very much that you have focused on the common flowers.
thanks santi.
common can be good. and, especially, very easy to find. 😉
lovely colours, and good macro
thank you, ifran
That was something new. And I like a lot of course!
yes. sometimes i get tired of poking my lens into people’s faces…
thank you!
#1 and #4 are thistle and #5 looks like a type of rununculus that we have here. #7 is clover. It’s funny, but they all look like what we have here on the other side of the world, though not right now. It is still a bit early here. You must have a lovely display going on right now!
i am impressed. thank you so much.
and yes, the flower show we’re having right now is downright amazing 😉
I thought one looked a little like a “Lolly Pope.”
the words lolly and pope in the same sentence makes me cringe 😦
thanks for the comment, though 😉
COLOR!!!! Beautiful photos Alessandro!
sometimes you just gotta splurge 😉
