LAKESCAPES – Atitlan, Guatemala
Views you get when looking out over Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.

Much more water than there used to be. As the recently-flooded trees slowly die, they are chopped up for use as firewood. San Marcos.
The level of Lake Atitlan has risen over the past few years due to heavier-than-usual rainy seasons to levels unseen for generations. This has caused loss of agricultural land, homes and businesses. As well as sinking all the non-floating docks. But – thankfully – life seems to keep going on, more or less as usual.
