LAOCOLOR – a photo essay from Laos
A few color photographs from around Vang Vieng, Laos.
Sometimes black and white just won’t do…

Ciao Alessandro, wonderful shots, l like the ones by the riverside especially the robes left by the monks. Lynne
thank you very much
Great pictures Alessandro, you have a great square point of view, not that easy to get.
rectangular pictures always seem a little too wide or too tall to me. my ideal format was the 6×7 proportions of my old mamiya rb67. but she’s gone now
thanks for the nice words
Brilliant picture of the monks bathing ! Loas is a very nice place to travel.
thank you. and yes, laos is lovely
I love how you capture daily life so beautifully. Sometimes (especially since I’m just learning) I get so caught up in trying to get some “artistically beautiful” picture, I forget the most artistically beautiful photo is seeing life and capturing it. You did that and its very beautiful.
thank you very much. the daily life of other peoples is very appealing to me
Great photos! Especially the lead image with the parasol. It’s nice to see that you witnessed the traditional side of Vang Vieng. Thanks for liking my post by the way.
it was well deserved, and thank you very much
