Lovely shots – especially the first one. Atitlan really is a beautiful lake – but I have to say that I’m not sure I agree with Huxley that it’s the most beautiful lake in the world. Italy’s Lake Como takes some beating in my opinion!

every lake has its own personality. i wouldn’t bother to try rating them – i just love to bask in beauty. for this, atitlan works quite well.
You’re right and I have many happy memories of Atitlan from when I lived in nearby Antigua. But I guess what I wanted to say is that you are fortunate enough to have a stunning lake in Italy too – as I have recently discovered, as I’m lucky enough to be spending a year in Italy right now
So you don’t have to go quite so far to capture more great lake pictures.
