GUATEMALA – portrait of a place
these pictures were taken in january 2012 during a one-week visit to San Pedro de la Laguna and surrounding areas, on the shores of beautiful lake Atitlàn. the lake has several towns ringing it and is wonderfully framed by three massive – and thankfully now extinct – volcanoes.
most of the local economy is based on harvesting and processing coffee beans, which grow plentiful and everywhere.

Hi Allesandro, a great set of street photos – particularly the first one of the boys playing football, you have a good eye!!
thank you very much. a bit of luck certainly helps, in street photography. especially when there are kids in the frame
Love the hole in the fence shot, the dogs and the guy jumping off the cliff, I’ve had days where I felt like that, only no water ; -)
always so sweet. thanks, christina.
